The Highlander is the largest of Frenich Farm’s luxury cottages and has the ambience of a restful but hearty home. This is the cottage for families and groups looking for a place to call home for a few nights with enough privacy for each person to relax.

The second bedroom is perfect for friends or family, with two single beds made up with crisp and comfortable bedding.
As with all Frenich Farm Cottages, the kitchen area is warm and inviting and equipped with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. A barbeque* is available if you wish to cook outside.
There is a shower room with a toilet, shower and hand basin that is supplied with clean and fresh towels. There is also an additional toilet and hand basin in this cottage.
The Bothy is comfortable and spacious with dining area, coffee table and couches. It has freeview television, a DVD player, Wi-Fi, and CD player.
Inside there is plenty of room to spread out maps of the local area and plan your next days touring, hiking, biking or fishing. This can all be done with the wood-burning stove* warming your toes while a wee dram warms your heart.
The Bothy continues its charm when guests look to the open courtyard from the living area window, and beyond to Loch Chon to see Scottish mist drift down and settle on the water from the hills. There is no other sight more relaxing and invigorating at the same time.
*Please note that you will need to bring your own small logs for the stove and coals for the BBQ; both can be purchased in Aberfoyle.

A fully equipped kitchen is provided with everything to make the perfect Scottish evening supper including a cooker, microwave and fridge. A dishwasher and washing machine are also fitted in the kitchen.
When staying at Frenich Cottages there is no need to worry about bed linen, towels and utensils as all of our cottages have everything you need for a memorable stay.
The But ‘n’ Ben’s large bathroom provides a chance to relieve any achy muscles after a day of Scotland’s elements. The comfortable king-size bed in the quietly decorated bedroom is fitted with a feather mattress and duvet suitable for either summer or winter.
Feel like staying in? The But ‘n’ Ben has a wood burning stove*, freeview television, a DVD player and Wi-Fi. If that doesn’t suit then open the door and cook on the barbeque* and let time drift by while watching birds peck at the feeder or sheep graze and tend to their young. Nature’s show takes place 24 hours a day, is free, and is available to view from your seat in The But ‘n’ Ben.
