The Highlander
The Highlander is the largest of Frenich Farm’s luxury cottages and has the ambience of a restful but hearty home. This is the cottage for families and groups looking for a place to call home for a few nights with enough privacy for each person to relax.
All three bedrooms in The Highlander are tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. The first room has a double bed. The second bedroom has two single beds and the third has a king size bed with en suite shower room, toilet and hand basin. Another bathroom, equipped with a bath and shower, toilet and hand basin, is off the hallway.
The kitchen area in The Highlander has a microwave, cooker, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. A barbeque* is available if you wish to cook outside. The eating nook is cozy and perfectly situated between the kitchen area, living area and a stable door leading to the courtyard outside. Beyond that the view is of the hills meeting the glen.
As with all Frenich Farm Cottages, The Highlander living area has a wood burning stove*, freeview television, a DVD player and Wi-Fi.
Looking out the front door visitors might catch a glimpse of sheep dogs herding their flock or Highland cattle lazily grazing their days away.
*Please note that you will need to bring your own small logs for the stove and coals for the BBQ; both can be purchased in Aberfoyle.

The Bothy

The Bothy has room to sleep four people. The first bedroom offers a double size bed and ample storage for a weekend or weeklong stay. This room has a stable door to take guests to the outside courtyard.
